Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of SignalDesk, a product of R To V Marketing. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
SignalDesk scans public sources and uses AI models to surface editorial opportunities and draft pitches for the brands you configure. Outputs are directional drafts. They are not journalism, legal advice, or guarantees of coverage. Your team is responsible for what you send.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe.
- One person per account. Don't share credentials.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
3. Plans, payments, refunds
- New accounts include 2 free preview scans on one brand. No payment information is required for the preview.
- To continue scanning and to unlock journalist contacts and the full pitch detail, you choose a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing → Manage payment & subscription. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Brand "core fields" (name, website, category, geography) are locked for 30 days after creation or edit, to prevent gaming brand-slot pricing.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use SignalDesk to:
- Generate or distribute defamatory, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful content.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Process personal data of others in violation of applicable privacy law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the brand inputs you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to operate the service for you (including sending relevant snippets to our AI sub-processors to generate opportunities and pitch drafts). See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Generated outputs
AI-generated text can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every output before sending it externally. We make no representation that opportunities will result in coverage.
7. Third-party services
SignalDesk relies on third-party providers across several categories — including payment processing, infrastructure and hosting, authentication, AI model access, web data retrieval, and email — to deliver the service. Where a portion of the service is powered by a third party, that provider's terms apply to that portion. The specific vendors we use may change over time as we improve the platform. 8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, R To V Marketing's total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Plan & billing → Danger zone. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 5–11 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which R To V Marketing is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email and by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
